Important Announcement RE: the Governor's Order - April 2, 2020

Dear Parents,

As you may have already heard, Governor Whitmer has now signed an Executive Order to close schools for the remainder of the year.  I understand the disappointment and the frustrations we all may be feeling, given the current circumstances, but our main goal is to ensure the health and safety of all of our students, teachers, staff, and families.  

March 20, 2020 - Online Instruction DOES Count

Dear Regina Parents,

Thank you so much for all you have done this week to assist getting your daughter acclimated to her new online learning platform.  I met with my entire staff today via a Zoom meeting and they are so pleased with how the teaching and learning is going thus far. Of course there are a few bumps, as to be expected, but overall, everything is going very well.  This speaks to the work ethic of our staff and students! So proud to be a part of this amazing Regina family.  

March 20, 2020 - Counseling Department Update

Dear Regina Community,

While we cannot meet in person during this time of social distancing, please know that the Counseling Department is here to support students and families.  We miss seeing the students daily and hope everyone is adjusting to the remote learning platforms. If students are having trouble accessing information or contacting their teachers, please let us know ASAP. 

AOD Directives - No school 3/13 and 3/16

As we continue to bring you the latest developments on actions being taken to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus, the Archdiocese of Detroit has advised all Catholic schools to close on Friday, March 13 and Monday, March 16.  Faculty and staff at Regina High School will be working on plan for remote learning for our students.  The school will also undergo a deep cleaning as we continue to stay ahead of this situation.

Coronavirus Precautions

We are in a very uncertain time with the pandemic at hand with the spread of the Coronavirus.  We want our Regina family to know that we are being very proactive in terms of protecting students and staff.  Initially, each classroom has been equipped with hand sanitizer, as well as each and every area of the school.  Hand washing is key to stopping the spread of this virus, so we have placed reminders in every bathroom.

The Regina Players are proud to present, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," a hilarious and touching musical that won both the Tony and the Drama Desk awards for best book. With a cast of only nine, Spelling Bee tells the story of six mid-pubescents vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime!

National Honors Society Inductees - March 3, 2020
