Catholic High Schools Join to Help Needy

Catholic High Schools Join to Help Needy: Between Sunday, Oct. 4th and Friday, Oct. 9th, all area Catholic high schools are supporting the efforts of the St. Vincent DePaul Society by collecting gently used clothing and shoes. As you rotate your summer wardrobe for fall, it’s a great time to weed out those items that you no longer want or need. Donations can be made in the drop-off bin in the school parking lot. Please help us join with other archdiocesan schools in carrying out God’s mission to clothe those who might otherwise go without.

Junior Ring Ceremony

Junior Ring Ceremony: Members of the Class of 2017 and their families are invited to the Junior Ring Ceremony and Brunch on Sunday, Oct. 18th. Mass begins in the chapel at 10:00 a.m. and is followed by brunch in the cafeteria. Invitations were mailed to the home and RSVPs are due back to the office by Friday, Oct. 9th.

Freshmen Mother/Daughter Mass

Freshman Mother/Daughter Mass: Freshman moms are invited to the annual Mother/Daughter Mass and Breakfast sponsored by the Mothers Guild. The event takes place on Sunday, Oct. 4th at 9:30 a.m. RSVP’s were due to the school office on Thursday, Sept. 24th. If a freshman’s mom is unable to attend, the student may invite her grandma, aunt, or another significant female figure in her life. The mass and breakfast is an opportunity to spend time with your amazing daughter and to meet her new friends and their moms. We hope you can make it!

Blessing of the Animals

Blessing of the Animals: In honor of the feast of St. Francis, S.T.A.N.D. and the St. Clare Franciscan Society are hosting the Blessing of the Animals outside the front doors of the school on Saturday, Oct. 3rd at 9:00 a.m. After the ceremony, refreshments are served. All varieties of animals are invited, but we ask that you carry or leash pets and come prepared to clean up any “accidents!”

RHS College Night

RHS College Night: College Night for Parents is a great opportunity for junior and senior parents to gain insight into the college admissions process. Regina High School hosts the program on Wednesday, Sept. 30th at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. A panel of college experts will answer questions about SAT and ACT testing, the Common Application, transcripts, recommendations, and more. DeLaSalle parents are invited to attend.

College Transcripts

Members of the Class of 2016 are now registered with Parchment, the electronic transcript delivery service used by most colleges. Many seniors have already made requests for transcripts. For the moment, these requests are “pending” due to a hold placed by Regina High School. Grades and ACT scores are being uploaded to the transcripts and verified. Transcripts will begin to go out by the week of Sept. 8th. Please be patient with the process!

Edline Posting

Edline Posting: All teachers post updated grades and attendance to Edline every Friday. Please check your daughter’s grades-in-progress regularly and notify the teacher or school administration if there is a problem viewing your daughter’s Edline reports.
