Students who are exempting an exam or are enrolled in a class that does not require a final exam do not need to be in school during that exam period. A parent does not need to call the school or send a note to excuse a student who is exempting. When exempting students are in the building during an exam period, they must remain in the library or cafeteria for quiet study. No one should be in the halls, at lockers, in the lobby or in Saddles Cafe while an exam is being given.
Students who have exceeded seven absences in any second semester class are required to make-up time per the school's attendance policy.
