It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we inform the Regina community that Sr. Hyacinth has passed away. Sr. Hyacinth has dedicated her life to Regina High School with over 55 years of service. She has certainly left a legacy. Please keep her and Sr. Leanne, her lifelong friend and co-worker, in your prayers.
The Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis are handling the details. Services will be held in Cleveland, OH.
Eternal rest grant unto you, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon the soul of Sr. Hyacinth.

March 26 1929 - August 17, 2019
Sister Mary Hyacinth passed peacefully on to Heaven, Saturday evening at 11:55 p.m. at St. John Hospital in Warren, Michigan.
Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis in 1944 from St. John Cantius parish in Cleveland, Ohio. After finishing her education she served most of her religious life as a teacher and organist in various parish schools in Ohio, Connecticut, and Michigan. For the past 55 years she ministered at Regina High School in Warren (formerly in Harper Woods) Michigan. On June 9, of this year she retired at the age of 90 and was honored at a special celebration given by Regina High School.
Her funeral arrangements are as follows, and will take place in St. Joseph Chapel at Marymount Congregational Home.
