New After School Cafeteria Hours
To Regina Parents and Students:
Monday, November 11, 2019, begins a new initiative to help improve safety and security at Regina High School. Our Kitchen service will now be open to offer food purchases after school. The schedule is as follows: Full days: 2:30 – 4:30 Half days: 12:30 - 2:30
This initiative is meant to provide additional safety, as well as accommodate students waiting for ride pick-ups or who are involved in extra-curricular activities. Like the morning food line before school, the after-school food line will have a limited menu, set by the Regina Kitchen Manager. Menu offerings for this time period will be adjusted to address the students’ interest in offerings. Just like the mornings and lunch periods, the line will be cashless, requiring students to use their student PIN for the QuikLunch (QSP) system.
From this date going forward, outside food deliveries for students will no longer be allowed or accepted. This is being done as a safety measure, since very often, students place an order for after-school food deliveries from unknown drivers through various online services such as Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc. Even the use of known company deliveries, such as those from Jimmy John’s, Jet’s, Hungry Howie’s, or other recognizable vendors are no longer allowed. Signage will be posted at doors informing drivers. Students will also see signage as a reminder.
For the safety of these students and others in the building, Regina High is prohibiting these deliveries.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
